“Sunshine Thru The Rain” is dedicated to helping children that have lost one or both of their parents, by providing a safe environment for them to express and share their experiences and make new memories.
Today your police department, along with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and the Houston Police Department were invited to help these children “Shop with a Cop.”
We had a blast helping the children shop one on one as they each had a $200.00 limit.
We must admit this was very emotional for us watching these children not only shop for themselves but making sure their family and friends were provided for as well.
All the children were polite, excited and extremely thankful.
